Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington are back with a brand new album!!! Linkin Park: Living Things
Here is my review
1. Lost In The Echo – 3:24
Lost In The Echo starts with an awesome M. Shinoda rap. Then comes Bennington, with his great singing voice, in the chorus. I think the whole song is just a mix of two styles: Hybrid Theory and Thousand Suns. Like, Hybrid Suns. But seriously, a good song. Not their best, but one of my favorites.

2. In My Remains – 3:19
This song starts off with 32 seconds of nothing but music. This is normal for a LP song, but this one is a little annoying… But when Chester starts, the song starts to sound 100% better. Another ‘Hybrid Suns’ type song. It’s got some Chester Yells, but it’s mostly some soft singing. At about two minutes in, the song changes. It just gets even better. It’s got some good drumming in the music at that point. Again, not their best, but OK.

3. Burn It Down – 3:51
This was the first single from the album. Everyone loves the first single, because it’s just the first thing you hear. When you’ve never heard music, it’s usually the first artist you hear who you like the most. But I know better. Burn It Down is not the best song from the album. The song has synth – a lot. Too much? No, not really. Again, the long start of nothing but music. And then the drum kicks in, and your like, okay… And then the chorus comes and your like… HOLY CRAP I LIKE THIS! The chorus is the closest you’ll come to a Hybrid Theory sound. Chester sings really good in this song, but the comes my favorite part… M. Shinoda! The best part. Some hardcore rap sounds come there. So all in all, this is a good song.

4. Lies Greed Misery – 2:27
Why couldn’t this song be longer? This is a Fort Minor song! Mike Shinoda is so great in this! The drums are there, the small about of synth is there, all combined, a good song. The chorus – Amazing. Some serious Bennington Screams. I love this song so much, there’s really not much to say… Listen to it today!!! FIVE STARS!!!
P.S. The outro is great if you love those Bennington Screams

5. I’ll Be Gone – 3:30
I’ll be gone if you turn this song on. Just my opinion, but it’s not a song I could listen to over and over. It’s the new Linkin Park style – But that’s not what I don’t like about it. It’s just too simple, I mean, there’s just average drums and guitar, nothing new, I bet there’s a Linkin park song almost exactly like it. I don’t remember the song, but this song has a twin. It’s not new. Plus, this song just lasts TOO LONG. Add it all up, and this it what you get: 2 STARS!!!

6. Castle Of Glass – 3:23
[Hits play… advertisement… songs starts…] AWESOME!!! But when will they start singing? [starts singing] YAY! This song is one of my favorites, with the new LP style, but some great music either way. The song has good guitar sound, and the drum is there, too. It’s a song you tap your feet to. One of the best: Like!

7. Victimized – 1:51
You know why this song is so short? It would literally hurt your ears any longer. THIS IS THE HYBRID THEORY LINKIN PARK! It’s a serious metal song. It has the most Chester Screaming, out of all of the album. It has a small bit of Shinoda rapping, too. Drums and guitar and screaming- that sums up the whole two minutes of the song.

8. Roads Untraveled – 3:44
Song starts… It’s not Christmas!!! It has these Christmas like bells in the background. It is a new sound for LP, a ‘Living Things’ sound. Bells and piano and some drums are really all there is… I can listen to this song for two minutes, but the same thing for four minutes? That’s the only downside.

9. Skin To Bone – 2:48
Halloween? I think this is the Holiday section of the album. Drums and Synth, a small bit of guitar… Imagine a mix of every album by LP made into one… This is it. I can’t explain this song, except it is really good. Not too long, either.

10. Until It Breaks – 3:47
I could listen to this song ‘until it breaks’. The starting is Mike Shinoda, who, as you know, is my favorite part of LP. It is definitely another Hybrid Suns song. The drums, the effects, the guitar, it makes a great song. Chester’s part sounds great, too, it’s definitely Chester’s Hybrid Suns sound. And when Brad Delson comes in, it turns to a Thousand Suns sound. I love the song, will you?

11. Tinfoil – 1:02
This is the only instrumental song on Living Things. It is a basic sound, not the best. But it is like a metal music type sound. A sound described by ‘Tinfoil’. Fairly short.

12. Powerless – 3:37
Three and a half minutes? GOOD! This is my favorite song from the whole album. Save the best for last! It’s a new sound, a light rock type song. Piano and soft drums… I love this song. The best song from the album… This song gets the MF300 Six Star rating!
